Earth Day is coming up! The first Earth Day over 40 years ago marked the beginning of the modern environmental movement. Since then, Earth Day gained momentum and now mobilizes one billion people to action every year. This is a great time to engage students in activities related to sustainability, environmental impact, and climate change. (Check out our Learn page for lots of great ideas!) Many communities also host Earth Day events; check out how you and/or students can get involved in events near you.
